Choosing a Tile Contractor

A Lasting Impact

Selecting your tile can be a daunting task, and finding the right tile installer can be downright nerve-racking. Whether you're talking to a seasoned installer or not, you want to be prepared to ask the right questions. All tiles are not created equal! It's important to feel comfortable with the installer's experience installing all types of tile - including artisan, mosaic and/or handmade tiles. In addition to choosing the right tile for your project, our team can also help you choose the grout, determine whether your tile needs to be sealed, and make sure you order enough tiles for the job. As your tile experts, we will be with your every step of the way. Let's talk!  We'd love to hear about your vision and how we can help bring it to life.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Should I order extra materials? It's recommended to order 10%-15% extra product based upon pattern layout to accommodate for cuts and repairs.

  • How long does it take to install tile? There are several factors that determine how well a tile project turns out: the product used, the area where the tile is being installed, and how much time was spent preparing & laying it out.

  • Do you offer design services? No, but most tile shops typically have design professionals who will help you select your tile, design your space, and order your tile. But before you finalize your order, talk with us and we can discuss any outstanding questions or concerns.

  • What credentials should I look for in a tile installer? Hiring a professional installer means they know exactly what your job entails and they can advise you on how to achieve the best results. Certified Tile Installer (CTI) certifications shows you have passed competency tests to show you are a professional installer.
